最初は失恋ソングかと思ったんですが、失恋は過去の話で、復縁して永遠の愛を誓ったカップルの歌みたいです。

鏡は個人的な解釈になりますが、君が悲しむと、僕も悲しくなるといった感じで、日本で言うと「一心同体」のイメージで訳しました。ティンバーレイクが一番伝えたかったのは「君じゃないとダメ」ってことじゃないかと思います。

ティンバーレイクは妻の女優ジェシカ・ビールに捧げた歌という解釈もあるみたいです（ジャスティン・ティンバーレイクとジェシカ・ビールは2011年に一度別れたもののその半年後に復縁し、2012年に結婚）。

因みにミュージック・ビデオは、ティンバーレイクの祖母と、昨年１２月に亡くなった祖父への献呈の辞から始まり、お互いが様々な場所、状況にいても、鏡のように影響しあって長年一緒に過ごすというもの。
