正しい解釈というか、バンドのインタビューが見つからなかったので個人的な解釈で訳そうかと思ったんですが、自分の英語力では追いつけない抽象的な歌詞だったので、以下のサイトを参考に「愛する人に「自分の中に潜むダークサイドには近づかないで」と警告する歌」という解釈で訳しました。

ビデオには、家族を失った人、戦争で友人を亡くした人、親から虐待を受けている人など困難に直面している人々に焦点が当てられているので、ダークサイドは”困難が生みだした自分の中の闇”という解釈で訳しました。
