フォール・アウト・ボーイが今年5月にリリースする4年振りのニューアルバム『Save Rock & Rol』に収録の一曲。

このアルバムタイトルを直訳すると「ロックンロールを救え」ですが、ピート曰く「最近、ロックを真面目にとらる人が多くて、それに対しての皮肉」とのこと（真面目にらえる人 = ロックイズデッドを語る人？）。

・・・で、この歌詞ですが、「ロックンロールを救え」と解釈できるというか、その解釈で訳していたんですが、このピートの発言を見た後に検索してみたところ、突然活動休止を発表し、4年間待たせたしまったファンへのメッセージという解釈が正しいみたいです。

・Be careful making wishes in the dark / Can't be sure when they've hit their mark = 格言「Be careful what you wish for because it might ・come true（願い事をするときは慎重にしなさい、本当に叶うかも知れないから）」を引用したものとのこと。

・悪魔が宿る俺を / 理解するのは不可能だろう（I'm in the details with the devil / You know the world can't ever get me on my level）= 超意訳なラインですが、バンドの活動休止を決意したときの自分たち（悪魔）という解釈。


・君が暗闇の中でしたことを俺の歌は知っている / さぁ、光よ / 光よ照らせ / 俺を燃やせ = このラインはビデオを参考に活動を休止したことに怒り、バンドから離れてしまったファンのことと解釈。バンドに失望（暗闇）したなら俺たちのグッズだとかを全て燃やしまえ。でも俺たちは戻って来たから再点火だ・・・といったイメージ。
