アルバム全体の流れから見ても、恐らく戦争をテーマにした歌詞だと思います。
「荒廃した土地」= 戦地
「光の爆発」= 核
「絶望の中」= 戦争そのもの
戦争には絶望しかない。
悲劇と失望を呼ぶだけ。
戦いなんか挑まずに放っておけばいいんだよ。
といった内容でしょうか。
「Let it go」「just Let it go」= 放っておこう
けっこういろんな歌詞や映画にに出てくるフレーズなんですが、個人的に好きな言葉なんです。
人間関係でメンドウなことが起きたら思い出すフレーズです。
